The Palm Pre Email App: Is it for Marketers?

Read the Full Palm Pre Email App Review

So I just got a Palm Pre recently, and have been using the Email App a lot.  I like it for the most part, I just have a few gripes about how fast it is, especially for high-volume email users.  The app is pretty addictive, nonetheless.

I’m really hoping someone will come out with a new email app that will allow me to still sync with microsoft exchange server but will also have an alternate view where I can view maybe 10 emails at a time and use my finger to magnify the important parts of each one so I can scan a ton of emails in a short amount of time.  This is a pretty niche wish, so I’m not about to hold my breath.

Overall, the Palm Pre email app is a pass for marketers or really most business professionals that need an easy way to flip through a lot of emails.  For now, however, you’ll be able to flip through lots of emails, but you might not be able to open a lot in one session.

Cell Phone Boosters

June 10th, 2009

If you’re struggling to keep calls from dropping because of a weak cell signal, you don’t have to switch providers just yet.  You should try a cell phone booster instead.

There are different cell phone boosters out there but I’d recommend either sticking with zboost or wilson brands.  I’d go with zboost if you’re looking for a kit for your car, bedroom, or small office space, and a wilson kit if you’re going more for a larger area like a warehouse, campus, or entire house.

You’re going to need a kit with an outdoor antenna to pick up existing signals, an amplifier to boost the signal, and an indoor antenna to communicate with your phone.
